Each Erasmus should be nominated for studying at our university in an email sent by their Erasmus office. 

Language of instruction

Language of instruction for Erasmus students is English unless a student is interested in studying in Polish.

Polish language course

All international students are offered Polish language course. The course is free of charge for Erasmus students. It covers 30 hours/4 ECTS.

Accommodation

KWU guarantees a place in a student dormitory for every Erasmus student. Monthly payment for a place in a double room is 308 zlotys, i.e. about 80 euros. Each room has an internet connection.

Welcome week

All Erasmus are invited to the extensive introduction programme called Welcome Week organised by the International Relations Office. It is held at the beginning of October for students coming for the winter semester or whole academic year and in the end of February for students coming for the summer semester. It includes meeting with the Mayor of Bydgoszcz in the City Hall, intercultural training, Polish language classes, guided tour of Bydgoszcz, visits to local museums, and many more. Participation in the whole introduction programme is awarded with 2 ECTS credits and a certificate.

Mentor/buddy programme

Each Erasmus student coming to KWU has his/her own mentor - a Polish student (very often a former Erasmus student) who helps him/her during stay in Bydgoszcz.
