New competition from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – “Vectors of Science”

The program aims to support higher education and science institutions, as well as other organizational units working to promote science, in the implementation of projects aimed at presenting current scientific achievements and the latest results of scientific research or development work, through the organization of scientific conferences or the publication of scientific monographs in Polish or one of the congress languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, or Italian).

The condition for participation in the program is the submission of a project:

whose implementation period is a maximum of 12 months for the “Scientific Conferences” module and 24 months for the “Scientific Monographs” module;
in which the amount of co-financing from funds for higher education and science is, in the case of the module:

  • “Scientific conferences” – no more than PLN 400,000,
  • “Scientific monographs” – no more than PLN 80,000

whereby this funding may not exceed 80% of the total cost of the project, and in the case of the “Scientific conferences” module, all conference fees must be included in the project costs;

which does not include activities financed from other public funds or European Union funds
whose indirect costs do not exceed 10% of the direct costs subsidized from funds for higher education and science.
The deadline for submitting applications to the Ministry is July 16, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.

Complete applications prepared in the OSF system can be submitted for verification by the Science Department until July 1, 2025. You must also fill out the project funding application form available on the Science Department website, with the approval of the Dean/Director of the Institute and the Head of the Department/Unit.

Applications that are not made available to the Science Department staff by the specified date will not be verified and will not be sent to the Ministry.
