Deadline for submitting applications to the NCN – September 16, 2025, 2:00 p.m.

The competition is aimed at experienced scientists whose research projects will focus on pioneering scientific research, including interdisciplinary research, important for the development of science, going beyond the current state of knowledge and which may result in scientific discoveries.

The competition allows for research projects lasting 36, 48, or 60 months.

The project manager must meet certain requirements, including having managed at least two research projects selected through national or international competitions.

By August 31, 2025, a complete application prepared in the OSF system must be made available for verification by the Science Department, and a signed internal application for project funding, supported by the Dean/Director of the Institute and the Head of the Department/Unit, must be submitted to the Science Department. Applications that are not made available to the Science Department staff by the specified date will not be verified and will not be sent to the NCN.
