Deadline for submitting applications to the NCN – December 15, 2024, 2:00 p.m.

The competition is open to researchers at all stages of their scientific careers who are planning to carry out research projects (OPUS) or research projects within the framework of LAP cooperation (OPUS LAP). Projects may only involve basic research.

An OPUS research project may include: international cooperation involving the use of large international research facilities by a Polish research team, or cooperation with foreign partners from scientific institutions who are not applying for funding for this purpose under LAP cooperation.

An OPUS LAP research project should plan cooperation with foreign research teams who are applying for funding for this purpose under the Weave program in LAP cooperation.

The project implementation period may not exceed 48 months.

Complete applications prepared in the OSF system may be submitted for verification by the Science Department by December 1, 2025, and a signed internal application for project funding supported by the Dean/Director of the Institute and the Head of the Department/Unit must be submitted.
