Deadline for submitting applications to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – from December 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

Young scientists who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the scholarship:

• are doctoral students at the UKW doctoral school or academic teachers employed on the basis of an employment contract at UKW – and do not hold a doctoral degree, or
• are preparing a doctoral dissertation on an external basis and do not hold a doctoral degree – if no more than 4 years have passed since the appointment of the supervisor or supervisors or the supervisor and assistant supervisor, or
• hold a doctoral degree, which they obtained no more than 7 years ago, and are employed at UKW on the basis of an employment contract.

The young scientist must demonstrate at least 3 publications (scientific monographs, chapters in a scientific monograph, or scientific articles) of which they are the author or leading co-author. This condition does not apply to candidates who indicate “art” as their leading field.

Only achievements obtained by November 30, 2025, may be included in the application.

The scholarship is awarded for a period not exceeding 3 years (36 months).

The maximum scholarship amount is PLN 5,390 per month.

Complete applications prepared in the OSF system can be submitted for verification:

to the Degree Office by December 8, 2025 – doctoral students

to the Science Department by December 10, 2025 – UKW employees who are not doctoral students.

By that time, you must:

make the completed application available in the OSF system to the employees of the Science Department or the Degree Office, respectively,
submit the application form signed by all persons required by the form to the Science Department or the Degree Office, link to the application form.
Applications that are not made available or are incomplete by the deadline will not be reviewed by the Degree Office and the Science Department and will not be sent to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Applications can be sent until December 19, 2025.
