Competition: “Treatments and adherence to treatment protocols” (OH-TREAT)

The aim of the OH-TREAT competition is to improve the effectiveness of treatment for patients, animals, and plants affected by bacterial or fungal infections by developing new therapies while reducing the risk of microbial resistance in various areas of One Health (humans, animals, environment). Research projects should aim to develop new innovative methods for treating antibiotic resistance. Detailed information is available on the NCN website. The deadline for submitting applications is February 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

LEAP-SE Cofund Call 2026 Competition

The LEAP-SE Cofund Call 2026 competition for international research projects concerns energy transition and renewable energy. International consortia composed of partners from at least four countries in Europe and Africa are eligible to apply for funding. Detailed information is available on the NCN website.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Applications or parts thereof concerning research carried out by UKW may be submitted for verification to the Science Department by: January 19, 2026 - OH-TREAT competition, January 22, 2026 - LEAP-SE Cofund 2026 competition.

By the above deadlines, it is necessary to:

• make the application completed in the competition-specific system available to the employees of the Science Department,
• agree on a possible data management plan with the UKW Library, link to information. 
• submit to the Science Department the DIRE opinion on the equipment planned for purchase, 
• submit to the Science Department the application form signed by all persons required by the form, link to the form.

Applications that are not made available or are incomplete by the deadline will not be reviewed by the Science Department and will not be sent.
