Deadline for submitting applications to the NCN: December 15, 2026, by 2:00 p.m.
This call for proposals is open to researchers at all stages of their academic careers who plan to carry out research projects (OPUS) or collaborative research projects under the LAP program (OPUS LAP). Projects may only involve basic research.
An OPUS research project may include: international collaboration involving the use of major international research facilities by a Polish research team, or collaboration with foreign partners from scientific institutions who are not applying for funding for this purpose under the LAP collaboration.
An OPUS LAP research project must include collaboration with foreign research teams that are applying for funding for this purpose under the Weave program within the LAP collaboration.
The project duration may not exceed 48 months.
Complete applications prepared in the OSF system may be submitted to the Research Department for review by November 27, 2026.
By that time, you must:
- make the fully completed proposal available to Science Department staff via the OSF system,
- agree on a data management plan with the UKW Library,
- submit the DIRE opinion regarding the equipment planned for purchase to the Science Department,
- submit the proposal submission form, signed by all persons required by the form, to the Science Department; link to the form.
Proposals that are not made available to the staff of the Research Department by the specified deadline will not be reviewed and will not be sent to the NCN. Detailed information about the call for proposals is available on the NCN website.
