Izabela Kapsa, Ph.D., dr hab., an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Political and Digital State at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, Poland. She is a political scientist and psychologist specializing in the role of digital technologies in shaping civic participation, public opinion, and democratic engagement. Her research focuses on e-participation, digital governance, and citizens’ resilience to disinformation and information warfare. She examines young people’s political preferences, digital resilience, and forms of political engagement in the context of new technologies. She applies mixed-methods approaches, including survey research and quantitative data analysis. She is actively engaged in international academic collaboration and delivers training in communication and digital competences. She has participated in multiple international projects, including research on e-voting systems and digital and psychological resilience.

Barbara Panciszko-Szweda - Doctor of Social Sciences in the field of Political Science, Master's degree in European Studies (2013) and Economics (2014) (University of Wrocław), adjunct at the Chair of Innovation Policy and Sustainable Development at the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. Her research focuses on sustainable development of rural areas, the concept of smart villages, the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union, food security, new technologies in agriculture and food production, especially genetic engineering, European integration and accessibility policy. She is an expert in the area of local development planning.
