Language of instruction

Language of instruction for Erasmus students is English unless a student is interested in studying in Polish.

Polish language course

All international students are offered Polish language course. The course is free of charge for Erasmus students. It covers 30 hours/4 ECTS.

Each Erasmus+ should be nominated for studying at our university in an email sent by their Erasmus+ office. 

Accommodation

Erasmus+ students are offered accommodation  in the university student house.  Monthly payment for accommodation in a double room is 320 zlotys, i.e. about 80 euros. 

Welcome week

All Erasmus+ students are invited to participate in the introduction programme called Welcome Week organised by the International Relations Office. It is held at the beginning of October for students coming for the winter semester or whole academic year and in the middle of February for students coming for the summer semester. It includes cultural and language workshops, guided tours of Bydgoszcz and Toruń, visits to local museums, events organised by Erasmus Student Network and many more. Participation in the whole introduction programme is awarded with 2 ECTS credits.

Mentor/buddy programme

Each Erasmus+ student coming to Kazimierz Wielki University gets support from a study buddy - a Polish student (very often a former Erasmus student) who helps him/her during stay in Bydgoszcz.
