Free Psychological Support Available at UKW
Students, doctoral candidates and staff of Kazimierz Wielki University can access free professional psychological support, including during the summer holidays. Qualified specialists are available to help people experiencing emotional, personal or academic difficulties.
The support is provided as part of the “MiniDO – Minimising Dropout at UKW” project. The initiative aims to reduce student dropout rates and promote mental well-being across the university community.
A consultation offers a safe and supportive environment in which participants can take a closer look at a difficult situation, understand and organise the emotions associated with it, and explore possible solutions.
More Than 300 Consultations Provided
Since the project began, UKW psychologists have conducted more than 300 consultations. Support is available for a wide range of concerns, including difficulties related to personal circumstances, emotions or education.
Depending on individual needs, assistance may take the form of a single consultation or a series of meetings. If further support is required, the psychologist can also recommend other available services and forms of assistance.
Support is available to students and doctoral candidates, as well as academic teachers and other members of staff who work directly with students.
Every consultation is confidential and anonymous. Meetings take place in an atmosphere of safety, trust and respect.
Available appointments are published in a dedicated online calendar, making it quick and convenient to arrange a consultation.
