BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

 

Anna Antonina Nogaj is a violinist and a psychologist with a specialization in the psychology of music.

Since the academic year of 2012-2013, she has been working as a lecturer at the Institute of Psychology of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In addition, since 2006 she has been a school psychologist at the Artur Rubinstein State Group of Music Schools in Bydgoszcz.

She cooperates as a lecturer with the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where, in addition to teaching, she runs psychological counselling for students and focuses on the problems of artistic development.


Currently, Anna Nogaj is participating in the creation of a network of Specialized Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centres at the Centre of Artistic Education in Warsaw and leads the above-mentioned counselling in Bydgoszcz. She is the editor of Psychological and Pedagogical Bulletins issued by the Centre of Artistic Education in Warsaw and one of the trainers at the Centre of Education for Teachers of Artistic Schools in Warsaw.

In the years 2011-2012, she was a member of a research team of the Institute of Music and Dance at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, which was preparing a report on music education of the first degree.

 

In 2013, she received a badge of honour "Merit for Polish Culture" of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

In 2015, she conducted a series of lectures on the psychology of music, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching programme, at the Music Department of Juraj Dobrila University of Pula in Croatia. 

 

As a violinist, she cooperates with numerous music groups, including the “Ziemia Bydgoska” Song and Dance Ensemble, with which she performs at home and abroad.
